Common Core: Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks
Xtra Math: By the end of first grade, students are expected to add and subtract within 20, demonstrating fluency for addition and subtraction within 10.
ABCya: ABCya provides educational games by grade level. First grade activities are categorized by: Letters, Numbers, Holiday, Skills, and Strategy. This is a favorite for first grade students!
Starfall: Starfall features interactive books and educational activities designed to support the basic foundations of reading.
Brain Pop: BrainPop offers animated movies, playful assessments and educational activities covering Science, Social Studies, Literacy, Health, Mathematics, Art, Music, Engineering and Technology.
Time for Kids: Time For Kids provides Science and Social Studies articles and educational activities for your first grader. There are also videos and photos to help enrich their learning experience.
PBS Kids: PBSkids has a variety of educational activities and games centered around their favorite characters from PBSkids. This website targets grade specific learning skills.
Primary Games: Primary Games offers a variety of mathematical games for your first grader.
ICT Games: Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) Games has Literacy and Mathematical games.
Math Playground: Math Playground has a large library of mathematical games categorized by grade level.
